[Largeformat] Re: Attachments

From: Vic Culver <vic@exis.net>

OK, now Luis! I wonder just how many of us have actually BEEN to
Hernandez??? I have! Don't go! The new road is quite a bit lower than
the old road, which is now gone, so the perspective is entirely changed.
The cottonwoods have grown up, making it difficult to even see the
graveyard! The cross is much diminished in brightness. The church is
still there but needs the original perspective! The moon practically NEVER
shows up in that same spot! And I haven't seen clouds like that short of
the the Carribean! Funny what time does to a place! ME? I haven't
changed a bit! Just for the record, I didn't even take the box out of the
car! I made a 35 mm snapshot just for record purposes (proof, if you must
know) but that's it! NOW -- Ghost Ranch still has some possibilities.
There are any number of old adobe churches up in the hills around Abiqui --
but most are fenced off with No Trespassing signs and other unfriendly type
things. AND, there are entirely too many people and buildings and etc. out
there now! Ah, well. Vic
