Thanks for the suggestions!

This is all part of what's driving me crazy.  Exposed at the same time, 
based on the same meter reading, were a couple of sheets of transparency 
film and these came out O.K.

Additionally,  I specifically remember when I unloaded the sheets, that they 
were loaded correctly.  I give up! It must be Gremlins.
