RE: [Largeformat] Welcome to Largeformat@onelist.com

Randle:
Welcome to the group.
I'm sorta a newbie too to LF. Bought a 5x7 "beater" in good shape
off EBAY a couple of weeks back. It has a 4x5 back too.
Waiting for lens to arrive from B&H to get started.
Still need some 5x7 holders. 10 of them on EBAY, but bidding is so
high that I can buy new ones for a few bucks more, so that's
what I'm gonna do.
Also have 35 mm -- lots of bodies (both Nikon and Canon)
and lens from 16 to 600mm.
Tried med. format -- Hasselblad -- 10 or 15 years ago, but just
didn't enjoy it. Sold it and continued with 35. Maybe something
about the square format. Don't really know.
This is a rather quiet group, maybe because it's so small.
Members are more than willing, though, to answer questions provide helpful
info, but days can pass before any messages are posted.
Also, there's not all the bickering here as exist on the LEICA net,
although I enjoy it too.
Again, welcome.
