To answer my own question .... the recommended negative size
for the Super Angulon 8/65 mm is 65x90 mm. Technical data

The people at Schneider claim that the covered area seems to
increase by stopping down the lens which is, however, due
to a decrease of illumination falloff towards the edges.
All told, coverage doesn't really change with aperture.
