Lee: This is a bit odd...I never did get the original message from Ken
Hough that you are answering. I belong to another list on Onelist, and have
never seen this problem before. Oh well.

Ken: Thanks for the advice, especially about the presoak. I haven't done
either colour nor sheet film in about 15+ years, so my instincts are pretty
rusty. As for the tank, I still have my old Unicolour drum [the one you
hand-roll on the table], which should do fine.

Um, actually it's "Don", but that's okay :}

Fascinating -- what did you use to make it, Bill? I think the Unicolour
folks used to sell a motor unit, but my memories on that are fuzzy.

Good idea - I hadn't thought of them yet!

Since I already have the Unicolour drum, I think I'll stick with it,
especially since it's already got some convenient grooves in it for holding
4x5" stock. This might be a good idea for the future, though, should I
move up to something much bigger in sheet size.

So, many thanks to all that wrote! I do really appreciate all the advice.
I was feeling pretty all-on-my-own for a while there, and frustrated at the
cost of having someone else [augh!] process my negs. I don't know about
you, but it gives me the shivers to hand my negs to *anyone* else.

Onwards, and thanks again.
