Re: [Largeformat] Red Dot Artar 14" f:9

Clive,

I had my lens reshuttered at S.K. Grimes.  He also makes slip on
filter adapters for old lenses.  His website is
www.skgrimes.com.
I don't know how fast he is but he will be able to do the job for
you.

Good luck and shooting on your trip,  Also, call ahead to Zion
National Park and see if they have implemented their shuttle
policy.  You don't want to get there and find out that you are stuck
using the Park shuttle to get around.

Hello Drew,

Ironically I have just been sorting out lenses for forthcoming trip
and
find that I will be using an Ektar 203mm and an Angulon 90mm.  The
Ektar
has a 37mm outer diameter at the business end and I am now looking for
a
slip on adapters. The Angulon seems to have a similar requirement but at
a
larger size.  Probably will not have time to get one mailed to me
from the
USA as that is where I will be in about a week.

Will be in Nevada then Utah so anyone who can suggest somewhere in the
area
where they might be purchased please let me know. I may have to get busy
in
the shed with the old South Bend lathe......

Really should start planning these trips a bit earlier - still that's
half
the fun - trying to sort out the kit at the last minute :-)

All the best,

Clive
