Drew,

Thank you for the pointer - hang on, wasn't it me who suggested Mr Grimes
for the slip-on filter :-) Anyway, the problem is that there is not enough
time for the filter holder to reach me here in England before I leave, so
was hoping for a friendly shop next to my hotel in Vegas...... well perhaps
not! Think the lathe is calling...... :-)

Thanks for reminding me about Zion. The last time I checked, the Zion rules
come into force after I leave so may have to nip over there for one last
time before LF photography in Zion becomes a pursuit for the very fit.....
It's a great place to stay under canvas as the temperature is very pleasant
day and night - unlike the North Rim of the Grand Canyon which gets a
little chilly in the evenings in early May.

Hope to spend a bit of time in Eastern Utah this time around - Moab and
then on to Monument Valley...

Anyway, have to get on and see what is in the fridge and freezer - last
chance to order some more film tomorrow morning.

All the best,
