Karl,
Shooting a few cacti is definitely planned - Tuscon is probably way too far
down south for this trip unless I get bored around Moab which seems
unlikely.
Seem to remember reading somewhere about a cactus garden - maybe saw a
photo on a web site recently. If this rings a bell with anyone then please
let me know.
Went to the North Rim of the GC on the last trip - snow on the ground and
campsites closed - stayed in a trailer park in the tent and have to say it
was a rather nippy night. In the morning looked at the line of washstands
in the open air with ice in the bowls and quickly packed up :-)
There was a stiff wind blowing at the various look out points so shot a bit
of video and leaned into the wind hoping for some of the polution to be
blown away so that a few photos could be taken. Gave up in the end and
headed for the Coral Pink sandunes to warm up for a day....
Arches and Cedar Breaks are on the list. Anyone had a look at the dinosaur
area near Vernal - have the urge to find a few fossils to shoot, is it
worth the trip?
All the best,
