I have a chance to buy an analogue Pentax Spotmeter,but I'm doing this over
the phone. How do you identify whether it is a Spotmeter V or an earlier
version? (in discussion, it looks like the Pentax label has come unglued and
dropped off).

The person I'm buying from can't find any info on the meter itself.
