Christiane,
Just surfacing after head down on the new web site.
I hope that the 90mm SA is all its cracked up to be as I have just
bought one :-) By all accounts it is a great lens for 4x5. Have been
using the wonderful 90mm Angulon for a long while together with a
65mm Grandagon when necessary. The Angulon just covers 4x5 but does
a great job if you're back packing. The 100mmWF Ektar has a bit more
coverage but not the edge resolution which is a shame.
Am currently looking for a 121 f8 Super Angulon so let me know if you
come across a deal whilst you're looking around. I would prefer one
in a modern shutter - ie modern shutter speeds.
The 90mm SA would be overkill in terms of coverage for your 6x9 and
probably a bit too big. The 90mm angulon would be a lot cheaper and
is a great lens - also small and light. Go for one in a Compur
shutter and try to get a late version. People seem to pay megabucks
for those with the Linhof name on them - the later lenses are all
pretty good so save your money :-)
