Re: [Largeformat] TMax and Pinholes

I never get pinholes ....but I always presoak my negs in any format
in water...before developing them.

(Hey....I learned that technical gem at Art Center....not
Rochester....I guess I am not a total technical loss!)

All done in drum:
>>>>>>Presoak 3 min constant agitation
>>>>>>Develop in HC110 Custom dilution for what ever my ASA is that
day
>>>>>> Wash in WATER 1 min
>>>>>>First fix....Diluted by half. 2 min
>>>>>>2nd Fix.....Full strenth 30 sec
>>>>>>Rinse 2 min
>>>>>>Heico Perma wash and rinse.

No pin holes. 2 Fixes you ask? I got pinholes with a water stop. ( I hate
TMAX remember ) Then I accidently diluted some fixer. Being cheap I used
it but it took too long so I fixed it again in full strenth after a few min. I have
done this for years now.
All I can say is that it works for me.
